Started the morning fighting with Fedora on virtualbox, realised that shortcuts turn into longcuts in the software world and suddenly decided to read the f***ing manual.
To resolve the problem:
1) Set the VB display resolution to 128MB
2) Check the 3D accelaration box
3) Get Fedora up to date, in particular make sure dkms is present :
---------------
yum -y update kernal
yum -y install kernal-devel kernal -headers dkms gcc gcc-c++
4) Find Devices ( right-ctl-C to get VB menu back) - CD/DVD/-choose a virtual CD file and add then select the Guest Addtions file (C:/Program Files/Oracle/VirtualBox)
5) Go into the VM, open a terminal, goto /media/VBXYZ and run the ./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run file.
Now I can select a reasonable resolution and run the VM in full screen....what a joy....now back to work....
